Film Night in the Park 2001
ABBOTT AND COSTLLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN
This film is a hilarious spoof of the classic Universal horror film of the 1930's and early 40's, with Abbott and Costello running into the likes of Dracula (Bela Lugosi), Frankenstein (Glenn Strange) and The Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.). The film combines the scary horror film, with one of the best-loved comedy duos of all-time. Horror buffs will note that Chaney Jr. fills in for Strange in the shot where the Monster tosses actress Lenore Aubert out a window. Strange had broken his foot in an accident and, rather then lose three days of shooting, Chaney volunteered to don the make-up once again.

Where: Albert Park, San Rafael (located at B Street and Albert Park Lane).

Film Night suggests that you arrive 1 hour before Showtime. There is music and pre-show entertainment, and don't forget the picnic dinner. Pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, backrests and LOW chairs are recommended. People arriving with TALL chairs (more than 8 inches off the ground) may be asked to move to the sides of the viewing area. Film Night suggests leaving pets at home, as they displace people at our popular screenings. Food and beverage is welcome, we just ask that you please clean up after yourself. ENJOY!
