This Billy Wilder movie brought us the first pairing of Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. Lemmon plays Harry Hinkle, a TV cameraman that is injured while taping a football game. Lemmon's brother-in-law William "Whiplash Willy" Gingrich (Matthau) sees an angle.
