nonspinnerFNguy.gif (2699 bytes)Film Night in the Park is an outdoor classic movie film festival that takes place at community parks in Marin County, California. This year's festival offers a diverse line-up of movies that includes classic, family, foreign and contemporary favorites. Each year Film Night salutes a forgotten actor or filmmaker. This year we salute director/producer Howard Hawks, a man Leonard Maltin calls "the greatest American director who is not a household name". Film Night will present six of his best movies including HIS GIRL FRIDAY, THE THING and THE BIG SLEEP.

PRINT INFO!

Film Night suggests that you arrive 1 hour before showtime. There is music and pre-show entertainment, and don't forget the picnic dinner. Pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, backrests and LOW chairs are recommended. People arriving with TALL chairs (more than 8 inches off the ground) may be asked to move to the sides of the viewing area. Film Night suggests leaving pets at home, as they displace people at our popular screenings. Food and beverage is welcome, we just ask that you please clean up after yourself. ENJOY!

Film Night in the Park is a project of the MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF MARIN, in partnership with the CAMPAIGN FOR A HEALTHIER COMMUNITY FOR CHILDREN.
