The summer season is nearing and so are free outdoor movies. Marin and the Bay Area is offering a free viewing of outdoor family movies. It’s time to pack your movie essentials – pillows, blankets, picnic basket, and drinks – and check out the guide below for the movie schedules and venues. You can enjoy the outdoor parks of Marin and Sonoma County with other movie-goers.
The free film viewing will commence at the beginning of June until the 26th of October. Movies will usually start at dusk or at 8 in the evening. For the accurate time and location, make sure to view the organizer’s website. Other venues will have food trucks and wine pairings. Also, make sure to look out for the usual movie must-have, as most film screening schedules will offer free popcorn.
In Novato, beside the Old Hamilton Theater building, you will find the North Bay Mobile Drive-In holding its movie screening events. If you want to get notified about the schedule and upcoming screenings, remember to join their Meetup Page.
