Summers in Marin is always full of excitement. Free outdoor concerts are held almost every week, the weather is warm, and the days become special. That said, you can expect something to do whether you’re in Novato or Sausalito.
Remember to pack your folding chairs and picnic things to make these concerts even more enjoyable. Check the schedule listed below if there’s one near your place. Here’s the list of events happening this summer.
Belvedere Concerts in the Park Summer Series at the Belvedere Community Park. The event is held every Sunday, specifically on June 16, July 14, August 13, and September 1 at around 3:45 PM or 4 PM.
Summer Sunday Concerts at Piccolo Pavilion at Old Corte Madera Square. Event is held every Sunday starting from June 9 to August 25 at 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
Marin County Mart, Larkspur
Aside from the free concerts, the Marin County Mart offers a farmer’s market on Saturdays as well. It’s open from 9 AM to 2 PM. Aside from that, various restaurants and food trucks will be in the vicinity as well. You can also enjoy the following events:
Tam Valley’s Creekside Fridays at Tennessee Valley Cabin, Mill Valley which is held every Friday starting from June 14 to August 9, 2019.
There’s also the Concerts on the Plaza event which is to be held at Depot Plaza, Downtown Mill Valley every Sundays on the month of August.
Concerts on the Green at Novato City Green on Saturdays, specifically on June 1 and 15, July 6 and 20, August 3 and 17. The lineup includes Mississippi Ramblers, Kingsborough, Decker, ROEM, Sunny & the Black Pack, and Barrio Manouche.
You can also attend the Hot Amphitheater Nights at Hamilton Amphitheater on June 29, July 27, & August 31. The lineup for this season includes the HA, Element Brass Band, and the Illegals, and the HA.
