Dr. Strangelove |
|
1964 102 min Stanley Kubrick and Peter Sellers team up to create the greatest black comedy ever made. A little comic relief was just what the nation needed after the Cuban Missile Crisis and the JFK assassination. Lets not forget the excellent performances from George C. Scott, Sterling Haden and Slim Pickens. Oh, and lets not forget a young James Earl Jones. Below is an example of one of the impressive sets created by Ken Adams. When Ronald Reagan became President one of the first things he wanted to see was the War Room. When he was told there was no War Room he replyed "Yes there is, I saw it in Dr. Strangelove".
